2. Human mamatay si San Pedro, kinsa man ang mipuli kaniya?
“The PRIMACY must last as long as the CHURCH lasts, that is, until the end of the world.”
Pagkahuman ni San Pedro, misunod (succeed) kaniya ang mahimong Obispo sa Roma, Karon mao si Pope Benedict XVI, ang misunod usab kang Pope John Paul II.
Ang Simbahan kinahanglan nga molungtad hangtod sa kataposan sa kalibutan sumala sa saad ug pagtukod ni Cristo. Busa gikinahanglan usab mosunod unsa may importante (essential) sama sa doktrina, sa worship (pag-ampo), sa gahum (power) ug sa organisasyon, molungtad usab.

A. Since the New Testament was written in the Greek language, it is right to begin the consideration of this critical passage in the language in which it was written:

B. As Greek declined in the Mediterranean world and Latin became the common tongue, the first translations of the Bible were in the Latin language. Hence, it is natural for us to consider also the way in which this critical passage was translated into Latin by Jerome (Rome, 383/384 AD).

Note that the word for Peter, ke’pha’, is the same word for rock. The words are equated: Peter is the rock.

Saint Peter, the most prominent of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ, a leader and missionary in the early church, and traditionally the first bishop of Rome.

9. Peter was personally installed as Head of the Apostles by Christ Himself. This foundation created for the Church by its Founder could not disappear with the person of Peter, but was intended to continue and did continue (as actual history shows) in the primacy of the Roman Church and its bishops.

The date of Peter’s death is thus not yet decided; the period between July, 64 (outbreak of the Neronian persecution), and the beginning of 68 (on 9 July Nero fled from Rome and committed suicide) must be left open for the date of his death.

Sa Our Catholic Faith, Part II nagkanayon: “We should contribute AS MUCH AS WE CAN, ACCORDING TO OUR MEANS.”
Deuteronomy 16:16-17 – “Kinahanglan nga dili sila moadto sa alampoanan kon wala silay dalang halad. v17Kinahanglan nga ang matag usa magdalag halad sumala sa panalangin nga iyang nadawat gikan sa GINOO nga inyong Dios.
2. Unsa man makanunayong pagtulon-an ug ang gi-practice sa Simbahan mahitungod sa Tithing?
Kining kustombre sa pagkolekta, nga sa tanang panahon angayng himuon, dinasig sa gipakitang ehemplo o panag-ingnan ni Cristo nga nahimong kabos aron kita mamahimong adunahan/dato.
1. Ang tithes (tithing) kanunay nagalangkob sa 10% gikan sa income sa bisan unsang tinubdan (source).

St. Agustine – Tithing should be regarded as something that is due by Christian to God.

St. Ambrose – Tithes are due from every substance given to men by God
St. Cesar of Aries – Tithes are to be paid for the sake not of God who receives them,
but for those who pay them, WHOSE ETERNAL SALVATION
DEPENDS UPON FAITHFUL PAYMENT.
Si St. Irenaeus nagtudlo: “The Church alone offers this pure oblation to the Creator, when she offers what comes forth from his creation with thanksgiving.”
